Pattaya Attractions

While Pattaya city may not compare so well with its main Thai rivals of Phuket and Koh Samui in terms of scenery,
it does have significant advantages over them which ensures that it is still the most popular Thai destination outside Bangkok.

The pivotal advantage is the exotic nightlife. Come dusk the lights go on,
the music gets turned up and the city of Pattaya transforms into the world’s largest red light district.

Soi after soi becomes packed with stunning Thai women who,
against a backdrop of flashing neon and a deafening blend of Thai and Western music
call out to the horde of passing tourists enticing them to enter their establishments.

As the nighttime rolls on the and bars fill with people it feels like one enormous party.
It's an atmosphere that is not for all, however for others it can prove addictive and draws them back year after year.

Another big advantage that Pattaya has is that the cost of things like food, entertainment,
shopping and especially hotels is lower than in the other exotic Thai resorts of Phuket and Koh Samui.

Pattaya has an idyllic blend of sand, sea and sunshine. From thrilling temples to panoramic viewpoints,
rare orchid farms to museums and a wide variety of leisure activities and entertainment
for all.

Recreational activities including beaches, golf courses, tennis courts, go-karts,
gyms for working out, shooting firearms, scuba diving and surfing, deep-sea fishing,
speed boats, scooters, water-skiing, para-sailing, or aerial sports such as gliding ultra-lights and flying motor-propelled gliders
and more are all on offer.

  1. great post.. yes: Pattaya has an "adult" feel to it but there is so much more. My advice is to get out and explore this great resort. You have some great links to some of Pattayas best attractions. keep up the good work.
